Technium – Low-Stretch Monofilament Line with Three-Layer Construction

Technium is a sinking monofilament line with reduced stretch, high abrasion resistance, and strong durability. The three-layer construction reduces linear stretch to around 12%, while maintaining the necessary suppleness for controlled lure presentation and comfortable handling.

The line offers a high strength-to-diameter ratio and serves as a compromise between braided and traditional monofilament lines. For carp anglers using light lures or slack-line techniques, it provides good bite feedback and effective sinking properties. The reduced stretch also delivers a more direct experience during the fight compared to stretch-free braided lines.

The durable inner core reduces stretch by about 50% compared to standard monofilament lines. This enhances bite detection in carp or feeder fishing, while maintaining enough elasticity for a secure fight. The middle layer gives the line its flexibility and contributes to easy handling.

The outer protective layer reduces friction during casting thanks to its smooth surface and also shields the line from UV radiation. This combination contributes to the abrasion resistance and knot strength of the Technium monofilament line.
