The Bull’s Eye is an ultra tough reel designed for long range saltwater surf and rock fishing, especially with large leads or over rough ground. The immensely powerful gearing, winch-like retrieve and metal HAGANE body combine seamlessly to deliver Shimano’s toughest long range reel.

If your fishing revolves around rough ground, heavy lead or long range fishing from rocks, where you need massive amounts of power and strength to overcome the conditions, the Bull’s Eye is the perfect solution. Reaching almost cult-like status around the world, the Bull’s Eye is a long range surf reel that has undergone a power makeover, without an increase in weight. At 540g it is remarkably light for such a tough reel, which makes it a pleasure to use, even when you are up against the toughest, most challenging situations.
Advanced Engineering and Technologies
Designed for strength and power, the Bull’s Eye has super strong HAGANE Gears and X-SHIP. These two technologies provide the strength required to overcome tough situations, and the high torque 3.5:1 gear ratio enables you to keep winding when the pressure is on, without excessive pumping of the rod.
