The Precision Xtreme Pencil is built with a durable, lead-free plastic body and a wire-through construction for added strength. Its internal weight system is designed for ultra-long casting, making it suitable for covering wide surface areas when targeting freshwater gamefish.
Inside the lure, the weight slides along an internal railing and strikes a plastic pillar and a stainless steel component in sequence. This produces alternating high- and low-frequency sounds to attract fish from varying distances.
Designed for walk-the-dog action, the Precision Xtreme Pencil performs well during topwater retrieves. Its action mimics the erratic movement of distressed baitfish, helping to provoke surface strikes.
The lure includes textured, translucent body finishes with printed scale patterns and a new 3D holographic eye. It is equipped with VMC® 7548 black nickel treble hooks for reliable hooking performance.
