The Deep Squid lure is crafted from balsa wood and built to dive into areas where squid typically reside, such as seaweed beds, rocky structures, and crevices. Its large diving lip activates movement even at very slow speeds, helping it reach optimal depth efficiently.

Suspending Action and Realistic Movement

With near-neutral buoyancy, the lure can be paused during retrieval or trolling to allow cephalopods a better opportunity to strike. It replicates the action of a wounded minnow and mimics the motion of a dying baitfish.

Construction and Hook Features

Constructed with a durable balsa body and finished in both natural and trigger color patterns. The lure is equipped with dual, 12-point stainless steel squid hooks. An additional belly eyelet allows for the optional attachment of a VMC® treble hook to target predatory fish.
