The Shakespeare SALT Surf reels are available in the two most popular surf sizes and both have been fitted with a large line capacity spool and spare spool. This allows you to cast the kinds of distance that you require to reach out far beyond the surf, reaching fish that lay past the breakers. The lightweight anodized aluminium spool is supported by a smooth operating drag system which allows you to lock down when casting. Next to that, the 7+1 stainless steel ball bearing system in combination with the strong gearing ensures you of a perfectly smooth operation.
